Like any sport, specifically those with an "adrenaline rush," flying ultralights does come with its risks. At San Diego Ultralights LLC we emphasize safety and strive to educate our students "pilots" not only on the skills needed to fly an Ultralight but also the safety aspects of the sport. Nevertheless, in order to take lessons we require specific acknowledgement of the risks involved in the training program and how disputes will be handled if they should occur.
In addition to the agreements listed below, we do require that each student carry their own medical insurance and supply proof of it with contact information.
Risk Acknowledgement
Please read and print the Risk Acknowledgement paperwork. You will need to sign a copy of it on the first day of lessons or before participating in a San Diego Ultralights LLC sponsored event.
